About the course
This Diploma builds foundational knowledge of building design and construction, introducing materials, processes, technologies and the range of roles across the building industry. Delivered through Western’s modular learning model, you study one course-specific subject at a time in intensive blocks with on-campus classes. Successful completion provides a pathway into second year of selected Western Sydney University Bachelor degrees in construction and building design management. The programme focuses on applied engineering drawings, workshop skills, and technical maintenance competencies.
