This diploma prepares aspiring creatives to enter the fashion industry with advanced technical capability, industry knowledge and design confidence. You’ll develop skills in apparel and textile design and product development, building practical experience aligned to current industry expectations. Study is delivered on campus and supports progression into fashion-focused roles through a Diploma-level qualification in design and product development. The programme trains digital design tools, visual production, and portfolio development for creative workplaces.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue work across fashion and textile design and product development environments. Roles may include assisting with garment and product development, design support, sampling and production coordination, or work within small fashion labels and broader apparel/textiles businesses. The course supports entry to creative and technical pathways in the industry through a Diploma-level qualification in apparel, fashion and textiles. Preparing graduates for junior designer, production assistant, and multimedia support roles, or degree articulation.
