About the course
This nationally recognised diploma is designed for aspiring TV and film actors, preparing you for entry into the performing arts industry as a screen performer. You’ll develop foundational pre-professional skills through training in acting techniques, improvisation, movement, audition preparation and self-testing for screen work. On completion, you’ll be equipped to audition confidently and perform in television and film productions as a Diploma-level screen performance graduate. The programme trains digital design tools, visual production, and portfolio development for creative workplaces.

Graduates may pursue entry-level pathways in screen acting and related production environments, with skills suited to auditioning and performing for camera. Career directions can include screen performer/actor for television and film, background or featured extra work, and participation in independent or short film projects, web series and commercial productions. This Diploma supports early career development in the performing arts and screen performance industry. Preparing graduates for junior designer, production assistant, and multimedia support roles, or degree articulation.
