About the course
This Bachelor of Creative Arts (Performance and Theatre) develops your skills as a theatre maker through practical performance training and critical study. You will explore acting, devising and production processes while learning to create original work and collaborate with others. The degree builds creative and analytical capabilities and can be tailored through your major. This is an on-campus undergraduate performing arts degree at UOW Wollongong. The programme develops design, animation, visual storytelling, and digital media production for creative industries.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue work across theatre and the performing arts as performers, actors, directors, playwrights or independent theatre makers. You could also move into roles in producing, arts administration and festival or program management, or specialise in design, dramaturgy and technical theatre. With further training, pathways may include drama teaching. This Bachelor-level qualification supports careers in performance and theatre industries. Preparing graduates for graphic design, multimedia production, advertising, and creative studio roles.
