About the course
This undergraduate certificate introduces core concepts in digital experience and interaction design for people aiming to enter the field or pivot into design. You’ll complete four units and can use the qualification as a pathway, with potential credit, into Curtin’s Bachelor of Design, including the Digital Experience and Interaction Design major. It’s a short, focused credential in design and user experience practice. The programme develops design, animation, visual storytelling, and digital media production for creative industries.
What you might learn
You’ll learn to apply digital experience and interaction design principles across varied contexts, use critical and creative problem solving to develop innovative solutions, and communicate concepts effectively to both experts and non-experts using appropriate technologies. The course also emphasises global standards and perspectives, respect for Indigenous values and knowledges, and professional teamwork, independence and lifelong learning in digital design practice.
Career outcome
