About the course
This foundation-level Certificate IV builds broad skills and experience in graphic design, covering branding and corporate design, packaging, UX and web/interface design, and environmental signage. You develop solid software skills using industry-standard Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign in a simulated industry environment, with hands-on teaching through tutorials, design briefs and class discussions. This is a Certificate IV qualification in graphic design. The programme trains digital design tools, visual production, and portfolio development for creative workplaces.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue entry-level roles supporting design teams across studios, agencies and in-house marketing departments. You’ll be prepared to assist with brand and marketing collateral, packaging concepts, basic web/interface assets, typography and layout tasks, and production-ready files for print and digital outputs. Typical pathways include junior support work while progressing to further study. This is a Certificate IV qualification in graphic design.
