About the course
This Certificate III in Commercial Cookery develops practical skills to plan, organise, prepare and cook food across a range of commercial kitchens. You will build capability in food safety, using kitchen equipment, menu planning, teamwork and coordinating service, with practice in on-campus training kitchens and a training restaurant. The course prepares you for entry-level work in commercial cookery at Certificate III level. The programme emphasises applied skills, workplace readiness, and technical competency for industry entry.

Graduates can pursue entry-level roles in commercial kitchen environments across hospitality and tourism settings such as restaurants, hotels, cafes, pubs, clubs, events and institutional catering.
