About the course

This Certificate III apprenticeship course develops practical cabinet-making and timber technology skills for residential and commercial settings. Designed for learners employed in the trade, it combines classroom study with work-based tasks to build capability in measuring and drafting (including CAD), interpreting documentation, preparing cutting lists, wood machining, and manufacturing or installing cabinetry and furniture. It leads to a formal trade qualification in cabinet making and timber technology.

Career outcome

Graduates can work as tradespersons in cabinet making and timber technology, manufacturing and/or installing timber products such as cabinetry and furniture for homes and commercial projects.
