About the course
This Certificate IV in Mental Health is an entry-level qualification designed to build specialised skills to support people experiencing mental health challenges in community services and healthcare settings. You’ll develop practical capability to work with clients with complex needs, including co-existing issues such as alcohol and other drug use, and to provide community-focused support across a range of services. This is a Certificate IV qualification in mental health. The programme introduces counselling basics, community support skills, and behavioural science fundamentals.
