About the course
This hands-on qualification builds practical skills for manufacturing recreational vehicles such as motor homes, caravans and camper trailers. You’ll learn to construct RVs to required Australian standards, including roadworthiness and Australian Design Rules (ADR). The course prepares you to work in large manufacturers or smaller RV workshops and provides a foundation for further training. This is a Certificate III in recreational vehicle manufacturing within mechanical engineering. The programme focuses on applied engineering drawings, workshop skills, and technical maintenance competencies.

Graduates can pursue entry-level trade roles in the recreational vehicle industry, supporting the manufacture, servicing and repair of RVs across a range of products.
