About the course
This apprenticeship-based Certificate III in Plumbing develops practical skills and trade knowledge to work across core plumbing areas. Training uses real-world facilities and a progressive plan covering water, sanitary and drainage systems, roofing, gas and fire services, plus reading plans and working safely on site. It is designed for learners completing a trade apprenticeship in plumbing at CQUniversity. The programme focuses on applied engineering drawings, workshop skills, and technical maintenance competencies.

Graduates are prepared for employment across residential, commercial and industrial plumbing work, supporting installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing and drainage systems.
