About the course
This trade qualification builds the practical skills and knowledge to service and repair mobile plant and heavy machinery in the automotive service and repair industry. You’ll learn to diagnose faults and work on key systems such as engines, electrical circuits and hydraulics. The course is designed for apprenticeship training and supports work in mining and heavy vehicle maintenance at Certificate III level in mechanical trades. The programme focuses on applied engineering drawings, workshop skills, and technical maintenance competencies.
