About the course

This Certificate I - IV course has been designed to give students the skills and knowledge to provide home and community support in order to assist allied health staff or individuals who need it. Students will receive training from industry experienced teachers in order to gain skills to be used towards future employment.

What you might learn

The course assists students to develop essential skills through core units such as implementing patient rehabilitation and maintenance therapy programs to facilitate client empowerment, so as to contribute towards academic knowledge required for a Bachelor degree or find employment in the industry.

Upon graduating from this program, you may be employed in roles such as senior disability support worker, aged care worker, community worker, youth worker, allied health assistant, occupational therapy assistant, and etc. in companies including United Nations, Red Cross, Centrelink, Department of Human Services, Salvation Army, and etc.
