About the course
This hands-on Certificate III develops trade skills for engineering fabrication, leading to qualification as a boilermaker or welder. You’ll learn to assemble fabricated components, interpret technical drawings, and perform sheet and plate work using common welding processes to required code standards. Training also covers marking off, fabrication and repair of structural steel and metal products, with a strong focus on safe work practices in fabrication trades.
