About the course
This practical qualification builds skills in automotive underbody mechanics for the light vehicle service and repair industry. You’ll learn to inspect, diagnose and repair key systems including tyres, wheels, steering, suspension and brakes, and communicate with customers to identify faults. Training is informed by current industry practices and technology, preparing you to seek recognition as an automotive underbody technology tradesperson at Certificate III level. The programme focuses on applied engineering drawings, workshop skills, and technical maintenance competencies.
