About the course
This hands-on qualification prepares you to work as a qualified diesel engine technician in the automotive service and repair sector. You’ll build practical capability to carry out mechanical work on diesel engines, fuel and electrical systems, and diagnose faults using specialised testing equipment. Completing the Certificate III supports work as a diesel engine specialist and, when undertaken through an apprenticeship, can contribute toward a trade qualification. The programme focuses on applied engineering drawings, workshop skills, and technical maintenance competencies.
