About the course
This nationally recognised pre-apprenticeship qualification prepares you for entry into a plumbing apprenticeship. You’ll build foundational trade skills through hands-on, on-campus training and industry-aligned tasks, helping you understand plumbing work practices, tools and safety expectations. The course is delivered full-time over 16 weeks and is designed as a pathway into plumbing trades training in the built environment. The programme focuses on applied engineering drawings, workshop skills, and technical maintenance competencies.

Graduates are prepared to pursue an apprenticeship in plumbing and related building services trades. The course supports entry-level readiness for work and further training, building practical capability for trade environments and helping you meet expectations for site safety and basic job tasks.
