About the course
This Certificate II helps existing automotive tradespeople gain the skills and compliance knowledge needed to safely service, repair and test automotive air conditioning systems. You’ll learn to work within laws covering ozone protection and synthetic refrigerant gases, supporting safe workplace practice. Completing the qualification prepares you to apply for an Automotive Refrigerant Handling Licence to work on A/C equipment across light, heavy and commercial vehicles and plant. The programme focuses on applied engineering drawings, workshop skills, and technical maintenance competencies.
