About the course

This Certificate II supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to begin a creative pathway in cultural arts. You’ll build foundational visual art and craft skills while strengthening understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander identity and applying it in an arts context. The course introduces basic drawing and painting, plus planning and completing day-to-day work activities, preparing you for further study or entry-level work in visual arts and crafts. The programme emphasises applied skills, workplace readiness, and technical competency for industry entry.
