About the course

This practical, hands-on qualification prepares you for work as a carpenter, developing skills to use carpentry and power tools and to build key timber structures such as wall frames, roof trusses, pitched roofs, flooring systems and stairs. You’ll learn to interpret plans, complete measurements and calculations, and apply workplace health and safety requirements. This Certificate III supports entry-level training in carpentry within the building and construction industry.
