There has never been a more important or exciting time to study the mediated world. This course builds your understanding of the changing contexts of media and communication practices. You will gain insight into the key issues affecting the communications and media industries and you will examine these developments from cultural, political and theoretical perspectives. This course develops an understanding of the contemporary communications and media environment.
