About the course
This Graduate Certificate in Wellbeing in Education is designed for teachers and education professionals who want to lead student wellbeing and pastoral care in contemporary school settings. It develops knowledge and skills to respond to student behaviour, mental health and wellbeing challenges, and to build supportive, resilient school communities. The course consists of four postgraduate units selected from a set offered by the School of Education, as a Graduate Certificate in Education & Teaching.
Career outcome
Graduates may move into or strengthen roles focused on student wellbeing and pastoral care within schools and related education settings. The qualification supports work in wellbeing leadership, pastoral care coordination, and initiatives that build resilience and positive learning environments for students and staff. It is also a pathway to further study with potential advanced standing into selected Master of Education specialisations, as a Graduate Certificate in Education & Teaching. Preparing graduates for education leadership, instructional design, and advanced teaching specialist roles.
