About the course
The Graduate Certificate in STEM Education builds teachers’ and education professionals’ capability to design and lead innovative STEM learning. Through flexible part-time study delivered online and/or in person, you strengthen pedagogical skills for integrated, collaborative STEM teaching and connect learning to real-world challenges. The program can also provide credit towards further postgraduate study in education at Flinders. The programme enhances curriculum leadership, pedagogical innovation, and educational policy understanding for professional educators.
Career outcome
Designed for current or former teachers and education professionals, this course supports career development in STEM-focused education and curriculum innovation. Graduates may pursue roles such as teacher (local, national or international), education policy maker or analyst, educational program coordinator, education administrator, or school executive. Employers may include public and independent schools, education departments/ministries, education research institutions and program providers.
