The Graduate Certificate in Political Economy examines how economic life is shaped by political, institutional, social, cultural and historical forces. You’ll explore key theoretical traditions and use them to analyse markets, the state and households, building a foundation for understanding contemporary economic challenges and trends. This is a face-to-face Graduate Certificate in economics-focused political economy. Career outcome
This course builds a foundation in political economy suited to roles requiring social, economic and policy analysis. Graduates may work across government and international agencies, business, research organisations, the community sector and media.
