About the course
This Graduate Certificate builds specialist capability in disability practice and leadership for professionals working in disability and human services. You will develop contemporary knowledge of disability theory, ethics, and inclusive, rights-based approaches, and strengthen skills to lead and sustain positive change across services and policy settings. The course is designed for senior practitioners and managers and can be completed in as little as six months in the disability and human services field.
Career outcome
Graduates may specialise in disability practice and leadership roles across allied health, education, community and human services. Potential outcomes include skilled disability practitioner positions, case management roles, policy development work, and disability leadership roles within human services organisations. Employment may be found in government and non-government agencies, the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) sector, and related service providers, supporting improved inclusion and outcomes for people with disability in sociology and social work contexts.
