About the course
UniSQ’s Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science prepares you to apply sport and exercise science to improve health, fitness and athletic performance. You’ll study areas such as anatomy and physiology, biomechanics, psychology, strength and conditioning, and exercise prescription, supported by access to specialised laboratories and an Exercise Physiology Clinic. The degree includes professional placements and practical learning for a Bachelor-level pathway in sports science.

Career outcome
Graduates can work as exercise scientists supporting sport and health services, including athlete performance support and exercise-based health and rehabilitation settings. Roles may include health promotion officer, recreation officer, gym manager, sports development officer, and positions in community sport, recreation and sports tourism. The degree also supports eligibility to apply for ESSA Exercise Science Accreditation (AES) for Bachelor-level sports science careers. Preparing graduates for laboratory technician, research assistant, and science-based industry entry roles.
