About the course
This accredited double degree builds expertise in health promotion and occupational health and safety to help you assess, manage and prevent injury and disease in workplaces and the wider community. You’ll develop skills across both disciplines, giving you the flexibility to work in either area or in roles that combine health promotion with workplace safety. This is an undergraduate Health Sciences double degree at Curtin University. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across health promotion and workplace safety in government, community health and public or private health services. Typical careers include health promotion officer, occupational health and safety officer, policy officer, workplace wellness coordinator and youth health coordinator.
