About the course
The Bachelor of Science (Extended)(Health) is a four-year undergraduate degree designed for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students, offering academically and culturally supported study. You will explore a broad range of health topics and tailor your study to your interests while building knowledge of culture and practice. Study is face-to-face and includes project and group-based learning with health organisations in a Bachelor-level Health Sciences program. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.
Career outcome
Graduates develop broad foundations in health and society, healthcare systems and emerging areas such as eHealth, with opportunities to focus on pathways like health policy, international health, or health ethics and law. The degree can support progression to roles in health services and program support, community and public health initiatives, health policy and administration, and related research or project work with health organisations. Outcomes align with a Bachelor-level Health Sciences qualification.
