About the course
ECU’s Bachelor of Science lets you build a tailored degree by choosing a major from seven science and mathematics areas and a minor from a range of options. You can explore disciplines in first year before specialising, and in the final year complete a semester-long professional placement to gain real workplace experience. The course also provides a pathway into the Master of Teaching for future science or mathematics teachers. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.

Graduates can pursue roles across science and mathematics-related industries, supported by practical experience gained through a semester-long professional placement.
