About the course

This degree builds knowledge and skills to work with communities to design innovative, evidence-based public health strategies. It focuses on reducing health disparities locally and globally through health promotion, policy, research and disease prevention. Study online or on campus and explore areas such as epidemiology, cultural safety, social media, and global and environmental health for practice across diverse settings. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.

Career outcome

Graduates may work across government, non-government and community settings supporting population health initiatives. Typical pathways include health promotion practitioner, health project officer, policy or program support roles, and research officer positions.
