About the course
This honours year provides advanced, research-based training in psychology for students who have completed an accredited three-year psychology degree. You will build skills in psychological research design, analysis and scholarly writing while deepening your knowledge of contemporary theory and practice. The course is an AQF Level 8 Bachelor Honours award and is designed as a pathway to further postgraduate psychology study and research in the discipline of psychology. The programme explores human behaviour, research methods, and applied psychology for community and organisational settings.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for research-focused and assistant roles in psychology-related settings, and for progression to postgraduate professional training pathways where additional accreditation is required.
