About the course

Deakin’s Bachelor of Psychological Science explores how people think, feel and behave, building a strong foundation in core psychology areas such as cognition, development, social behaviour and psychopathology. You can specialise early through majors including child and family, organisational studies or forensic studies, and may choose an elective industry placement to build practical skills. This bachelor degree provides a pathway to further accredited study toward psychology registration.

Graduates can pursue roles across health, community and organisational settings where understanding behaviour is valued, including support and wellbeing roles, behaviour-focused program delivery, people and culture/HR support, and research or service coordination.
