About the course
This double degree explores how psychology and law intersect, with a focus on understanding criminal behaviour, victims’ perspectives and decision-making within legal processes. You’ll build a strong foundation in psychological theory alongside core legal knowledge and skills, with an optional professional placement to develop experience and networks. The Bachelor-level programme meets academic requirements for admission to the legal profession in Australia and supports pathways to further psychology training.

Graduates can pursue careers across many areas of law and justice, supported by psychological insight into human behaviour. Potential pathways include legal practice (with required practical legal training), justice and corrective services, youth and community services, health, social and disability sectors, armed services, education and research agencies.
