About the course
This honours year in Politics, Philosophy and Economics lets high-achieving PPE graduates deepen expertise through advanced study and a supervised research project. You’ll investigate complex ideas and develop research and critical analysis skills, with a Philosophy major focus option. Designed for students aiming to build specialist knowledge and prepare for further study. This is a Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in arts and humanities at UOW. The programme introduces business strategy, finance, marketing, and leadership foundations for commercial organisations.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue pathways in policy and government, diplomacy and foreign affairs, lobbying and political advisory roles, social policy development, and business development/administration. The research-focused honours experience also supports progression to postgraduate study and roles requiring strong analytical writing and evidence-based reasoning.
