About the course
This undergraduate extended major provides foundational studies for direct entry into UWA’s Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. You will build knowledge in pre-clinical biomedical sciences and podiatric health sciences, developing an understanding of the human body, health and disease as they relate to foot and lower-limb care. The course is delivered on campus in Perth and is designed as a pathway into postgraduate podiatric training in Health Sciences. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.

Graduates typically use this extended major as a pathway into the Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, supporting progression toward professional podiatry practice.
