About the course
This honours year builds advanced pharmaceutical science and research capability through intensive, practical study. You’ll extend prior pharmaceutical sciences knowledge while developing skills in experimental design, analysis and evidence-based practice, with strong links to industry-relevant problems. Delivered on campus at Bundoora, the Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Honours) prepares you for research-focused work and further study in pharmacy and pharmacology.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue roles across pharmaceuticals, clinical research and regulatory environments. Typical pathways include clinical trials support and coordination, medical information and scientific liaison work, quality assurance, ethics and governance administration, and regulatory affairs. The honours training also supports progression to higher-degree research or research assistant roles in laboratories and industry. This is an honours qualification in pharmacy and pharmacology.
