About the course
Designed with Actors Centre Australia (ACA), the Bachelor of Performing Arts (Acting) combines intensive practical actor training with supporting theory to help you discover your voice and refine your creative identity. You’ll build technique across acting, voice, movement and screen production, supported by electives and industry engagement. Purpose-built facilities and opportunities such as mentorships and internships help you graduate with a strong portfolio and industry credibility in acting and screen performance.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue careers as stage actors in theatre companies and touring productions, and as screen actors working in film, television and commercials. The course also supports pathways into voice-over work for animation, audiobooks, games and advertising. With experience across performance and screen practice, you may also move into creative entrepreneurship roles such as producer, director or writer, or into education as a drama teacher, acting coach or specialist in performing arts. Preparing graduates for graphic design, multimedia production, advertising, and creative studio roles.
