About the course
The Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science prepares you to turn a passion for sport into a professional career by exploring how the body responds to exercise. You’ll study human movement, biomechanics, motor control, exercise physiology and sport psychology, alongside coaching and exercise prescription. The course also offers specialisation options in business management, physical education, or strength, conditioning and coaching in a Bachelor-level sport science degree. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.

Graduates can pursue roles across sport, fitness and health industries, applying sport science knowledge to improve performance and wellbeing. Career directions may include coaching and strength and conditioning support, performance testing and analysis, health promotion and education, and roles linked to sport psychology and nutrition support. This bachelor degree can also support pathways into teaching preparation for secondary PDHPE through further study.
