About the course
The Bachelor of Science (Honours) is a fourth-year program for Science, IT and Mathematical Science graduates who want to undertake advanced study in a chosen discipline. You complete substantial independent research supported by coursework in research methods, communication and a literature review, culminating in an Honours thesis. It is designed as preparation for higher degree research or research-intensive professional practice in the sciences. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.
