About the course
This double degree builds a deeper understanding of mathematics and physics and how they work together to model and explain physical systems. You’ll develop strong quantitative skills including problem-solving, data analysis, probability, logic and mathematical modelling, while studying core physics concepts. The program also highlights opportunities such as scholarships and access to AMSI-supported initiatives. This is a Bachelor-level double degree in mathematical sciences and physics.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles that combine advanced quantitative methods with physics knowledge, especially in areas involving mathematical modelling of physical systems. Career paths may include data-focused roles in research, government and industry, analytics and modelling positions, and technical roles in science and technology organisations. The double degree can also provide a pathway to further study and research in mathematics or physics. This is a Bachelor-level pathway into science, modelling and research-oriented careers.
