About the course
Western Sydney University’s Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) explores how people think, feel and behave across personal, professional and social settings. You’ll build a scientific understanding of human behaviour and experience, with opportunities to choose electives such as digital mental health, psychology and crime, and applied psychology. The fourth-year Honours component develops advanced research skills and supports pathways into postgraduate professional psychology programs in Psychology at Bachelor (Honours) level.

Graduates can pursue roles across diverse psychology-related and people-focused sectors. Career directions may include pathways toward clinical, industrial and organisational psychology (with further accredited training), as well as work in disability and community services, forensic and law-related settings, media and communications, and applied psychology roles supporting wellbeing and behaviour change.
