About the course
JCU’s Bachelor of Psychological Science builds a foundation in psychological theory, scientific research methods and analytical thinking. You will examine how psychology is interpreted and applied across real-world contexts, developing transferable skills useful in areas such as behaviour insights, marketing and data interpretation. This undergraduate psychology degree also provides a pathway to further study, including Honours and Master-level programs in psychology. The programme explores human behaviour, research methods, and applied psychology for community and organisational settings.
Career outcome
Graduates can apply psychological science and research skills across roles that analyse behaviour and inform decision-making. Career pathways may include behaviour insights and research assistance, market and customer research, program evaluation, data and insights roles, and work in community, health, education or government settings (often with further training). This Bachelor of Psychological Science provides an undergraduate foundation for careers related to psychology and for progression to Honours study.
