About the course

The Bachelor of Physiotherapy prepares you to prevent injury and disability and to rehabilitate people with movement and functional problems. You’ll learn to assess and treat cardiorespiratory, musculoskeletal and neurological conditions across diverse age groups. The course includes supervised clinical placements from early in the degree, developing professional practice aligned with Australian Physiotherapy Council expectations in a Bachelor-level physiotherapy qualification.

Career outcome

Graduates can pursue physiotherapy careers across public and private health settings. Typical areas include rehabilitation, paediatrics, women’s health, sports physiotherapy, cardiorespiratory and orthopaedic practice, and work with older adults in gerontology and ergonomics. Employment settings include hospitals, rehabilitation units, community health centres, private practices, and roles in research, education, government and industry for Bachelor-qualified physiotherapists. Preparing graduates for nursing, allied health, and community care professional registration and graduate roles.
