About the course
This degree explores how law operates, why laws exist, and how legal systems affect people and communities. You’ll build practical legal knowledge alongside an understanding of Australian and international politics and society, preparing for roles across legal support and justice-related settings. A conveyancing major accredited by NSW Fair Trading can support a pathway to becoming a licensed conveyancer in NSW. This is an undergraduate law-focused program. The programme builds legal reasoning, case analysis, and professional ethics for legal practice and public service pathways.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue careers supporting legal and justice work across government, community and private sectors. Typical pathways include policy development roles, paralegal and legal support positions, and work within justice and regulatory environments. With the accredited conveyancing major, graduates may also work in conveyancing and property transactions, with a potential pathway toward licensed conveyancer practice in NSW. This is a bachelor-level qualification in law and justice studies.
