About the course
Murdoch’s Bachelor of Laws focuses on social justice and practical legal training. You’ll build core legal knowledge while gaining hands-on experience through the SCALES Community Legal Centre clinical program, working on real cases with real clients. You can also develop advocacy and reasoning skills through Murdoch’s mooting program in a purpose-built courtroom. This is an undergraduate law degree with an Honours pathway for eligible students. The programme builds legal reasoning, case analysis, and professional ethics for legal practice and public service pathways.
Career outcome
This degree prepares graduates for diverse careers across law, government, business and community sectors. Potential pathways include becoming a solicitor or barrister, or working in legal and policy roles in federal, state or local government. Graduates may also work as legal advisers in corporate environments or community legal centres, or as legal analysts.
