About the course
This double degree combines Media and Communications with Law to build strong capabilities in media production, communication strategy and legal analysis. You’ll study two qualifications concurrently, developing practical creative skills alongside an understanding of legal systems and contemporary issues. Learning is supported by access to professional media facilities and on‑campus study options at North Ryde. It’s an undergraduate pathway spanning media and law expertise.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across legal practice and the communications/media sector, combining legal knowledge with storytelling and digital production skills. Potential pathways include solicitor or barrister (with required further steps), policy or regulatory roles, communications specialist, public relations manager, journalist, cross‑platform producer, media designer, screen/film producer, or digital marketing and social media specialist. Employers may include legal service providers, media outlets, agencies, broadcasters, NGOs and government-related organisations.
