About the course
This double degree combines Information and Communications Technology with Law, building technical capability alongside legal knowledge for strong cross-sector employability. You’ll learn through practice-based projects, case and problem-based classes, supported by online materials and authentic assessment. The Law component meets the academic requirements for admission to practise as an Australian lawyer, while ICT develops real-world computing skills at bachelor level. The programme builds legal reasoning, case analysis, and professional ethics for legal practice and public service pathways.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles where technology and legal capability intersect, including ICT professional careers such as systems analysis, programming, networking, database and web/mobile development, as well as pathways toward legal practice after required practical legal training. You may also work in areas like technology governance, digital compliance, legal technology, cyber and privacy advisory, or business and policy settings needing combined ICT and law expertise at bachelor level. Preparing graduates for legal practice, paralegal, compliance, and public sector legal support roles.
