About the course
This double degree combines accredited city planning study with a full law education. You’ll learn how cities are designed and regulated, and how legal frameworks shape land use, development, environment and community outcomes. The program builds analytical, policy and problem-solving skills through studio-style planning work alongside legal reasoning and research. This is an undergraduate Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in planning and law. The programme builds legal reasoning, case analysis, and professional ethics for legal practice and public service pathways.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue careers across planning and legal sectors, working with government, councils, developers, consultancies and community organisations. Roles may include urban or strategic planner, development assessment officer, policy advisor, community or transport planner, or planning and environment specialist. The law component also supports pathways into legal practice and related advisory roles. This is an undergraduate Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in law and city planning. Preparing graduates for legal practice, paralegal, compliance, and public sector legal support roles.
