About the course

This 3-year full-time Master of Engineering is designed for applicants with a science or related background seeking an engineering qualification, or for engineering graduates wanting to change discipline. Study online or on campus and build core engineering fundamentals before progressing to advanced specialist knowledge in your chosen major. The course emphasises sustainability, design, teamwork, research and leadership, and is shaped with industry input for workplace relevance in engineering at master’s level.

Career outcome

Graduates can pursue professional engineering roles across civil and structural, electrical and electronics, or mechanical engineering, depending on the specialisation. Opportunities include design and construction, infrastructure and water, roads and traffic, renewable energy and power systems, electronics and telecommunications, manufacturing and process control, mining, oil and gas, consulting and project management.
