About the course
UniSC’s Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) prepares you to help people overcome barriers to daily life caused by injury, illness, mental health challenges, disability or ageing. You’ll build core knowledge in areas such as anatomy, physiology, psychology, wellbeing and public health, and learn occupational therapy across the lifespan. The degree integrates theory with extensive practice education (including 1000 hours) to develop job-ready skills in Occupational Therapy at bachelor honours level.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue occupational therapy roles across diverse health and community settings. Career pathways include hospitals, community health and mental health services, child and adolescent services, aged care, private practice and vocational rehabilitation. The program is accredited and supports eligibility to apply for registration as an occupational therapist in Australia through the relevant professional bodies. These outcomes align with entry to professional practice in Occupational Therapy at bachelor honours level.
